The Philippines consist of 7,107 islands. The total population is 88,574,614. The total area is 300,000 sq kilometers. We are visiting the Bicol Region, which has a population of 5,109,798. The major crops in this region are palay, corn, banana, jackfruit, coconut, and pineapple.
We are hear visiting Amy's parents, President and Sister Smith. President Smith is the mission president of the Naga mission, which has 12 zones and approximately 150 missionaries.
